Some great quotes

"Home is not a place:it is an attitude. It is an attitude which depends upon how much we are able to feel at home with ourselves as well as with others. Home is something which happens to a person; homecoming has less to do with geography than it has to do with a sense of personal integrity or inner wholeness." Anthony Padovano, Dawn Without Darkness

"The real mreaning of security-
Freedom is not knowing where you are - but being deeply there...
Not waiting for someone to save or rescue you or heal your terrible past, but doing that for yourself. Freedom is about being vulnerable to one another, realizing that our ability to connect is more important than feeling secure, in control and alone." Eve ensler "Ode"

The Guest House

This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.

A joy, a deppression, a meanness
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.

Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they're a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
he may be clearing you out
for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.

Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond."

Rumi
